AdhiShakti Music Academy was born from a deeply personal love for music and a recognition that Hyderabad’s passionate learners deserved a dedicated, nurturing space to explore the arts. From humble beginnings, we grew steadily — building a reputation not through flashy marketing, but through the quiet yet powerful transformations we witnessed in our students every single day.
What began as a small team of passionate instructors has grown into a faculty of over 15 expert educators, each bringing years of professional performance and teaching experience to every lesson. Over six enriching years, we have seen shy children blossom into confident performers, beginners master complex compositions, and adults find profound joy and stress relief through music — stories that remind us every day why we do what we do.
AS Music Academy offers a rich and carefully curated selection of courses designed to meet students at every level and interest. Our programmes span the classical to the contemporary, the traditional to the technical.
Our Carnatic vocal programme immerses students in the timeless tradition of South Indian classical music, following the revered Guru-Shishya Parampara while employing modern teaching aids for enhanced understanding. Students begin with foundational exercises — sarali varisai and janta varisai — before progressing to geetams, varnams, and the magnificent compositions of the Trinity: Tyagaraja, Muthuswami Dikshitar, and Syama Sastri. This is a programme that cultivates not just musical ability but cultural appreciation and deep artistic sensitivity.
Kuchipudi, the classical dance form with its origins in Andhra Pradesh, is one of India’s most expressive and technically demanding performance traditions. At AS Music Academy, our Kuchipudi programme is led by instructors holding Natya Acharya credentials, ensuring that students receive authentic, rigorous training. From the basics of adavus and abhinaya to the grandeur of a full Arangetram performance, we guide our dance students with patience, expertise, and deep respect for this classical art form.
Our piano and keyboard programme takes students on a rewarding journey from reading sheet music and mastering scales to performing confidently on stage. We teach music theory essentials — notes, rhythm, and harmony — alongside a broad repertoire spanning classical compositions, contemporary pieces, and popular Bollywood songs. Students can also prepare for internationally recognized examinations from boards such as Trinity College London and Rockschool, earning credentials that reflect their hard-earned skills.

The violin is one of the most expressive instruments in the world, and at AdhiShakti Music Academy, we teach it with a focus on building strong posture, precise technique, and a rich tonal quality from the very first lesson. Our violin curriculum accommodates beginners through advanced players, with instruction available in both Western classical and Carnatic styles, offering our students a uniquely versatile musical education.
